A WORKSHOP FOR FACULTY AND GRADUATE STUDENTS PRESENTED BY
THE USC LIBRARIES:
RefWorks is a Web-based bibliographic tool provided by USC Libraries to help organize references for essays, research papers, theses and dissertations. The sessions on advanced techniques will introduce RefWorks capabilities such as:
- managing folders and output styles;
- using Write and Cite to insert citations directly from your RefWorks account; and
- using RefShare to share RefWorks folders with other users.
As the workshops also will offer an interdisciplinary refresher on basic RefWorks features, such as importing and exporting records from databases and organizing references, they will be useful to new RefWorks users as well as those already familiar with the software. The presenter, RefWorks’ Karen Hinton, will draw examples from arts and humanities, the sciences, and social sciences. USC librarians also will be on hand to answer your questions.
