New Course Reserves System!

New Undergraduate and Graduate Course Reserves System!

Beginning with Spring 2007 reserve requests, USC Libraries will officially switch to the Ares System for managing course reserves. In anticipation of Spring 2007 reserve request submissions, the "Start a Reserve Request" link below will be replaced with the link to the Ares logon page on November 16, 2006. For more information on the Ares system, please visit Ares Tutorials & F.A.Q.s

A number of instructors who used electronic reserves services during the Fall 2006 semester may have already been pre-registered to use the Ares system by library staff. If you are an instructor who used reserve services during the Fall 2006 semester, please contact idd@usc.edu in order to see if you have already been registered.

If you need to register, go to Create an Account. Then, you can use Ares to submit reserve requests to the library or manage course reserve materials directly.
For personal assistance please call or email one of our Reserve Desks. Also, you can use our Course Reserves Guide.
